Thank you, C-note, no one ever gives women with a sound like Dolly or Brenda's any street cred.
I had more old female blues and country stuff, but I didn't know if anyone would care. Glad to know someone would! I think another block of stuff will come soon...
When you do a similar section, don't forget my personal favorite, the best of them all, Big Maybelle. Especially anything from the "Complete OKeh Sessions, 52-55." May I suggest, "Gabbin' Blues", "I've Got a Feelin'", "One Monkey Don't Stop No Show", "The Other Night" or "Maybelle's Blues." By the way, the site's looking great!
